About SkyDrill

SkyDrill is a free practice-question site for FAA airman knowledge tests, published by Shikakumon, a small independent publisher of exam-practice sites. It currently covers Remote Pilot (Part 107) (292 questions) and Aviation Mechanic General (AMG) (290 questions).

Where the questions come from

Every question is an original item written against one element of the FAA Airman Certification Standards and grounded in public-domain FAA material: Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations, the FAA Remote Pilot Study Guide, and the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician Handbook. Each page lists the section the fact comes from so you can read the primary source yourself.

We do not use, copy, or paraphrase actual test questions from the FAA or from any test-prep vendor. If a question here resembles one on the real test, it is because both were written from the same public document.

How they are checked

Questions are drafted and then fact-checked in a separate pass that verifies every number, limit, and section reference against the source text; anything that cannot be verified is discarded. Automated checks also enforce that the correct choice is not systematically the longest, that answer positions are balanced, that explanations never refer to a choice by letter, and that no question depends on a figure.

What this site is not

SkyDrill is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Federal Aviation Administration, any knowledge-testing center, or any training provider. It is not a substitute for a ground school course or the endorsement requirements in 14 CFR. Regulations and handbooks are revised; always confirm details against the current edition before your test.
